This is not a complete list; the commands listed here are those most useful for programming and basic control of the scanner.

AT AT (cr) Returns attenuator status
AT0 (cr) Sets attenuator off
AT1 (cr) Sets attenuator on
AU AU (cr) Returns Automode/step status
AU0 (cr) Sets Automode/step off
AU1 (cr) Sets Automode/status on
BM BM (cr) Returns scan bank link mode and active banks
BM # (cr) Sets scan bank link mode on/off, where # is desired banks
BQ BQ0 (cr) Sets search bank link mode off
BQ1(cr) Sets search bank link mode on
BS BS (cr) Returns search bank link mode and active banks
BS # (cr) Sets search bank link mode on/off, where # is desired banks
DD DD (cr) Returns VFO settings
EX EX (cr) Switches remote mode off
GA GA#xx (cr) Tags memory channels for select scan, where # is bank and xx is channel number
GD GDxx (cr) Removes memory channel from select scan, where xx is channel number
GR GRxx (cr) Returns select scan channel info, where xx is channel number
MA MA (cr) Recalls channel data for current bank
MA# (cr) Recalls channel data for specified bank
MC MC0 (cr) Sets mute off
MC1 (cr) Sets mute on
MC2 (cr) Sets mute auto (normal squelch operation
MD MDx (cr) Sets receive mode, where x is mode
MD0 (cr) Sets mode to WFM
MD1 (cr) Sets mode to NFM
MD2 (cr) Sets mode to AM
MD3 (cr) Sets mode to USB
MD4 (cr) Sets mode to LSB
MD5 (cr) Sets mode to CW
ML ML0 (cr) Sets scan bank link off
ML1 (cr) Sets scan bank link on
MP MP0 (cr) Sets pass (lockout) off for current memory channel
MP1 (cr) Sets pass (lockout) on for current memory channel
MQ MQ (cr) Deletes current memory channel data (in memory recall mode)
MQnn (cr) Deletes current memory bank data (in memory recall mode)
MR MR (cr) Places AR8K in memory recall mode
MR#nn (cr) Places AR8K in memory recall mode, and sets to specified bank and channel,
where X is bank and nn is channel number
MS MS (cr) Starts memory scan from current position
MS# (cr) Starts memory scan from specified bank
MX MX (cr) Programs memory channels, using the following format:
MX#nn_RFfff.ffff_AUn_STn_MDn_ATn_TMn
#nn Bank (A-J or a-j) and channel 00-49
RFfff.fffff Frequency in MHz (trailing zeroes not necessary)
AUn Automode on (1) or off (0); if on, entered step size and mode are invalid
STn Step size in kHz (.5, 1.0, 5.0, 6.25, 7.5, 9.0, 10.0, 12.5, 15.0, 20.0, 25.0, 50.0, 100.0)
MDn Receive mode (listed above)
ATn Attenuator mode (on or off)
TMn Text input (up to 7 characters)
RF RF (cr) Recalls current frequency in VFO mode
RFnnn.nnnn Enters specified frequency (in MHz) in VFO mode
SA SA (cr) Returns current audio search mode
SA0 (cr) Sets audio search mode off
SA1 (cr) Sets audio search mode on
SE SE (cr) Programs search limits, using the following format:
SE_SLfff.fffff_SUfff.ffff_AUn_STn_MDn_ATn_TTn
SLfff.fffff Lower limit frequency in MHz (trailing zeroes not necessary)
RUfff.fffff Upper limit frequency in MHz (trailing zeroes not necessary)
AUn Automode on (1) or off (0); if on, entered step size and mode are invalid
STn Step size in kHz (.5, 1.0, 5.0, 6.25, 7.5, 9.0, 10.0, 12.5, 15.0, 20.0, 25.0, 50.0, 100.0)
MDn Receive mode (listed above)

SM SM (cr) Starts memory scan
SR SR (cr) Returns search bank data.
SS SS (cr) Starts search from current bank.
SSn(cr) Starts search from specified bank, where n = bank number A-J or a-j.
VA VA (cr) Returns current settings of VFO A.
VA (cr) Programs VFO A, using the following format:

h1e h1e (cr) Hex h1e = up arrow
h1f h1f (cr) Hex h1f = down arrow
