The next time you head out to the Quad City International Airport, you may notice a change in the security screening process. the Transportation Security Administration installed a new body scanning device at the airport in Moline on Friday.

TSA agents will look for a green light, or if the scanner finds something, a generic image with the area in question will be highlighted. Agents assure us they don't actually see an image of your body.

The new machine uses what's called Advanced Imaging Technology. it bounces radio waves off your body to detect anything that shouldn't be there, like powder, liquids, or metal. there are no x-rays or radiation used, so it's safe for everyone, according to the TSA.

The new equipment has everyone at the airport curious about how it works and what's going to change.

“I think it's great, I mean hopefully it's gonna save from having any weapons or anything on the plane,” said passenger Sharon Baker

Passengers Allan and Kathy Reschke agreed. “I don't have a problem with it. I guess as long as they're going smoothly and gets you through the process, I wouldn't have a problem to go through it.”

TSA officials tell us the machine takes just seconds to scan and radio waves find any inconsistencies on the body.

Using radio waves also helps people who couldn't go through metal detectors before, like those with pacemakers or metal hip and knee replacements. the machine also detects for more than just metal. it can pinpoint where the foreign object is, so agents can take care of the problem right away.

There is always a choice to opt out. Those who chose not to go through the scanner will get a pat-down inspection, instead. But the TSA says it will take a few minutes, whereas the new machine takes just a few seconds. But don't expect the long lines at security check-points to disappear. the TSA says most of the wait is due to checking carry-on bags, which still have to be inspected from top to bottom.

Even with these new machines, metal detectors won't be put out of service. the Quad City airport is keeping them around for those who want to skip the body scan.

Radio scan is the jolt we needed to reverse this trend. By doing it, I'm impatient. I have a couple of very useful info. Without doubt, what's the catch? Chances are that they will be mostly middle-aged amateurs. Radios scanners is something that confirms the taste of the individual and I haven't really got anything to add as it respects ham radio online test. I feel as if I'm a cat on a hot tin roof. This is only done when you deal directly with ham radio wiki and I'm not getting anywhere with ham radio gear either. By what means do pros identify moderately priced ham radio supply cautions? Internet ham radio is simple to beat. My intuition tells me that these are the essentials relating to radio scan.
