The incident of a ‘strange and frightening sound’ from the sky that was heard in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak on January 11 and 12 is now getting international attention when an article about it was published in the Borneo is heatedly discussed on the internet around the world.

For those who do not know, the day before the incident occurred during dawn, the same thing happened in Aaborg, Denmark.

In fact the strange and scary sound has been recorded in Sweden on November 1 last year.

That other day the Borneo Post reported a strange sound being heard at Kampung Meranek, Kota Samarahan which sparked fear and anxiety among its residents.

Not long after the noise was heard, a strong earthquake occurred (7.3 on the Richter scale) in Sumatera, Indonesia.

However it is still uncertain how far is the connection between the strange sound and the earthquake incident.

This is the sound that was successfully recorded by a resident:

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Fadillah Yusuf does not want to continue making conclusions regarding the matter.

He said, he needs to obtain scientific information on the matter first from the Meteorology Department.

Besides the earthquake incident in Sumatera, there is also a theory linking the strange sound to a program known as High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP).

HAARP is a research program related to ionosphere and fully under the US Air Force, US Navy, University of Alaska and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

DARPA is an agency formed by the United States government to build various high technology weapons for American military usage.

HAARP hides behind the scientific research activity reputedly studying the ionosphere layer to further increase communication system usage and weather monitoring.

The HAARP research site which is located in Gakona, Alaska houses high technology equipments namely Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI).

IRI is an instrument that produce high definition radio frequency around 2.7 MHz to 10MHz.

IRI is capable of radiating frequency to hard-to-reach limited layer namely the ionosphere layer and re-send the signal to earth.

Whatever it is until now, there are no clear explanations or answers on what actually happened in Kota Samarahan and several areas in the world that day.

What is certain, the strange and frightening sound will continue to haunt the residents as long as there are no certain answers regarding it. by: Syahril a. Kadir (mynewshub.my)

I gather radio scan has its place. That's why… That is heavy. This is a fact of life. Ostensibly, this was very lively. This is the right one. It's a jungle out there. There was an unexpected rise in sales for ham radio batteries. I reckon you can do that in a quick and efficient way without pulling your hair out. This too, shall pass. The first step is to develop a ham radio antennas plan. It is so awesome that I should try to jump into that partially. I'm covering all the bases I need to here. We had an actual gulley washer here. I wanted to rake in more knowledge on this. There is a thin line difference to radio scan and too much radio frequencies to the point of being ham radio equipment for sale.
